I think, shortcuts for dates are needed urgently! ;)

what about:
  • "cd" => today, JS fills in *c*urrent *d*ate
  • "td" => tomorry, JS fills in *t*omorrows *d*ate
  • ... day after tomorrow, next week, next month, ...
could be another shortcut, too!

but I am not sure if this can be explained to users easily... I really really love the drop down list in google's calendar and I think that should be our road to make entering times and days more easily.

could be both at same time?

i'm more the keyboard-guy and am much more faster with the keyboard than with clicking with my mouse! I love the TAB-key! *G*
